Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga / Mysore (Self Practice) ****
This style of yoga, popularized by Guru Sri. K. Pattabhi Jois, stresses the practice of a set series of postures linked by a “flowing” sequence of movements called vinyasa. Vinyasa refers to the alignment of movement and breath – a method which turns static asanas(postures) into a dynamic flow. This is a more strenuous and dynamic class and does NOT require an existing knowledge of the Ashtanga Primary Series.
